I've just had a new computer installed at work & when trying to listen to a sound I have the following bug;

Buffering/error loading file.

First up IT forgot to load a Flash Player so the site would half load then crash, then they loaded Adobe Flash which at first I thought had fixed prob, but no it come up with above error.
Since then they have tried uninstalling the reinstalling Flash to no avail.

Its running on IE.

Does it require Quicktime player?

Any help would be much appreciated

Only Flash is required to

Only Flash is required to play sounds. That error is coming from Flash and given your description it sounds more like a firewall or network problem. It is not uncommon for corporate firewalls to be overly aggressive in blocking audio traffic.

There may also be something wrong with the IE/Flash interaction. Normally an uninstall / install fixes it but sometimes IE is stubborn. If you know that the firewall is not the problem can you try FireFox or Chrome?

Let us know what you find out.
