About Sampleconstruct

Composer, Keyboarder, Saxplayer, Sounddesigner, Producer - I´ve been working with electronics and synthesizers since I was 6. I use a lot of field recordings in my music and consider every sound on earth being musical in some sense. I've been performing live concerts as a Keyboard/Sampler/Live-Electronics-player in the field of contemporary music, jazz, fusion and improvised music since I was 12, collaborated with many orchestras - also the Berlin Philharmonic orchestra - and together with my brother Markus Stockhausen I released numerous CDs on labels like ECM, EMI and LARGO Records. During my career I played with Jazz cats like Lalo Shifrin and australian trumpeter James Morrison with whom I founded the "Band On the Edge" in 2003 and toured Europe and Australia.
In the last years I mainly composed soundtracks for TV, cinema and theatre. Everything else about me and current projects you can find on my website.
