Composer, DJ, music producer, sound designer.
Composing music since his teens, Andrew has been developing and evolving his aesthetic in music production, and gaining international recognition for his work.
Whilst studying music production, Andrew set up a small record label to release music and raise awareness of his own musical creations. The label soon gained critical acclaim and Andrew’s music was in demand by radio, press and filmmakers, as well as audiences at his regular DJ sets in club nights across the UK (Playing at legendary clubs such as The Warehouse in Leeds and supporting acts like “A Guy Called Gerald”).
Andrew Potterton’s music soon became in demand from various film producers and directors, and he started composing for feature film, TV and Internet media projects.
TV and FILM Credits include: Life on Mars (BBC), Life in Cold Blood (BBC), Mark of Cain (Channel 4), Vincent (ITV Productions), Terminal Air (Current TV).
Andrew’s music features in US and UK feature films and many cutting edge short film projects, including the urbanfreeflow Parkour Freerunning UF$TV- DVD series.
Andrew has been commissioned to write music for the PES 2008 Konami Pro Evo Soccer Game, and audio loop packs for www.primeloops.com
Andrew is busy in the studio working on new music.
