My name is Matthew Williams, but known to everyone I work with as Wills. Trained at Clwyd Theatr Cymru and The Manchester School Of Sound Recording, I have been working in professional theatre and recording studios for the last 17 years. Currently employed at Clwyd Theatr Cymru, one of the top producing theatres in the UK under the direction of former RSC artistic director, Terry Hands CBE. I have been sound designer for approx 40 shows for them, including shows in New York and London. I have also been lucky enough to work with some of my favourite bands, including The Quireboys and The Dogs D'Amour amongst others. Usually recording equipment includes AKG C414 and E300 Series microphones directly to PC or via Marantz professional CF recorder. Edited and mastered with Sony Sound Forge.
