About Mental Audio

Mental Audio was established as an audio firm in 2009 by Aleksander Puntervold and Eirik Johansen, both studying Music Technology at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.

With a background in music reaching over 15 years combined, Mental Audio intend to provide sounds and audio of the highest professional quality. We use various studio mics like AKG 414, Neumann U87, Rode nt1-a, Shure beta 98h and Audix UEM81CD12. For recordings outside, we use Edirol R-09HR, a portable recorder of pristine quality. All sounds are carefully edited in Logic and Sony Sound Forge 10 Pro.
