I downloaded a few .wav files and tried to open them in Audacity, only to receive a message reading that the file type is not supported. I get a similar message when I try to play them with Windows Media Player. I know these programs support .wav files, so there must be something different about these files. Can someone suggest a way that I can make these files usable?

Same file type issue - I have just signed up to the site and have the same problem - can anyone help? Thanks in advance.
