well thats the thing, I swear when i down load the wav, and plop it into my movie in WMM then they don't play, make no sound, do nothing.
the mp3 versions do.
I mean it seems that way, the I open the sound and horrid windows media player plays it. nothing.
right now I tested it with that "book out of water-drips" sound the wav dosen't play, the mp3 does. maybe it is an unfortunate happening and someone's files get corrupted or they are corrupting on me?

Thats an interesting bug.
However, I would generally recommend that you use the wav versions, and not the mp3s.
The wavs (or .aifs) are the original files, which means that they have higher quality. The mp3s could theoretically have some problems because of their conversion.

I've been saving things from here for weeks, and I am using sound effected for video/"videos" I assemble in windows movie maker, but sometimes when I go to use a wav it dies on me, I put it into that microsoft movie maker and it doesn't play anymore, sometimes that file doesn't play at all anymore.
it worked in the preview.
also I swear one of the mp3 versions just quit on me and became silent.
why do the sounds just stop working?
