What an exciting, international comunity/website. I am just a novice in soundhunting. I am recording with an Edirol R-09 (first generation), 24bit, with builtin micro. Waiting for an ordered Minigun CL21... any experiences by anybody?

completely bewildered, I have the question, how it can come, that so many people need a - for example - little creek sound. Or steps in a hallway, or traffic lights in the city of Helsinki.
Can somebody explain me, what people are doing with these sounds?
