featured users

what is the featured users list?...& what are the qualifications to be on the list...?

You are right that this should be clarified.

At the moment I choose to feature users that have been active lately (like buba guessed..!). I then add some other users whose work I like. I tend to leave out users that don't have a picture uploaded, or contact info/website.

I was thinking of making an algorithm that would automatically feature users according to recent activity. But that sounds too complex for now.
