Hi!

I'm a relic from the days of reel-to-reel sound recording and editing with a razor blade, a chinagraph pencil, a jointing block and a Revox tape recorder. Back in those days there were only half a dozen SFX records on the market - and they were awful!
Storage devices were coat hangers around the sound booth where we'd hang loops of tape.
Things have changed. Now I have a Zoom H4! And Soundsnap!
So if anyone needs a clip of kangaroos skipping down the high street or Aussie crowd reaction to the Aussie swim team thrashing the Americans (and the Dutch - of course) in the Bejing Oympics - I'm ready!
I'm now into filmmaking with my first official film (a doco) currently in post production. I'm looking to use Soundsnap to hook up with other creatives.

Welcome Russell, Its always

Welcome Russell,

Its always great to know that we have some old-skool people onboard.

You should have some interesting sounds to contribute- so I 'll be looking forward to those jumping kangaroo noises!
