Kwell :) Thanks for following up.
I purposely didn't mention name or gender in this inquiry in case I was wrong -- which I was hoping I was.
She's got some great stuff, i.e. the "nonsense" talk in a wide variety of languages. Funny yet very useful too if mixed with other things whereby one can't quite tell that it's gibberish.
As I said, this place is a goldmine. I could and probably will spend hours here.
NRN.

I'm a relatively new member here and due to living on limited disability income, my hands seemed tied in using sound fx due to my being ethic compulsive on copyrights.
I come from the Pink Floyd "background story" music tradition, so good sound effects are essential. I practiced on BBC Sound Effects CDs from local library, but can't use any of those due to steep license (I'm assuming).
So....
Finding Soundsnap was like gold from heaven to me. I may not be able to contribute anything for a while for just staying focused on creating music and video is hard enough.
But hopefully I'll be able to some day. The best I could do for now is add you to my recently created MySpace page.
I still use my intuition and ear when a few samples at Soundsnap sound "a bit too good" and the member has no contact email address or website.
But I trust the source of the vast majority of contributions and there are always alternative sounds to choose from.
Not expecting any replies to this posting, I'm simply most grateful for this community resource.
Sincerely,
