Some of you may know, most probably don't know what Second life is. To sum it up, basically it is a live experience online, where people all over the world can basically come together, make stuff, chat, etc. Nealy all of the content within Second Life however is created through the individuals who log into it. Even better is that the economy is actually real with the in world currency completely transferable into USD. There are and have been very dedicated folks inside of Second Life who have created lots of content and have made some real money out of it, even some who make a living from it.
And this is where I come in. I make some furniture and animations and such within Second Life, and would like to use SoundSnap files to upload and use in Second Life. Right now I am not really selling anything for profit, most of it is just a hobby, and while this might all fall under the Game Developer kind of field, I just want to be sure before I do something that might get me in a heap of trouble.
My goals are just to add some flare to my areas, like some ambient noises to my house, some sound effects to my various animations, etc. Some of which may at some point in time be sold for profit, but not the sound files themselves just alone, they will be tied into an object, for example.
I am okay to do this, right? ^^;
