I agree with you in general. We don't want the forum to get out of hand.
But on the other hand, most users have their (sometimes commercial) websites as a signature. We would have to ban url's and I think thats extreme.
Taking into account the self-promotional style of this specific forum, I don't mind Contractor's email. It seems quite genuine and they have also posted on another forum already. So they are innocent in my view- until proved guilty :-)
If we see that people regularly do that on purpose we might change our position on commercial applications.
Thanks for your input SImon. I would like to hear what other people think about this issue and get more opinions.
