We have thought about this a
We have thought about this a lot.
But we 're also trying to lower the bariers for people to get sounds.
We want to make it really easy for people to find sounds. And we can always monitor what IPs have downloaded which sound. Signing up with an email doesn't give any more information anyway, if someone want to commit ilegalities..
Therefore, most users are 'anonymous' and they want to remain that way (not everyone is an audio freak like us!!). So that wouldn't help us statistically.

I reckon people should register and / or at least be made to introduce themselves and post what they download before getting access out of respect to the community. It would signal a good demographic of what is heading where as well.
