Hi all,

This was the closest part of the forums I could find for this topic, which is about use of sound and adjustments for best real use results rather than just strait up recording.

I noticed that this webpage uses flash to give previews of sounds, but when I download the sound files and use them in my own flash files (coded with action script 3.0) they loose a lot of their quality.
Specifically, http://www.soundsnap.com/node/84168
goes from a lovely pop to something resembling a shoe step. Does anyone here have any ideas why this is happening and what could be done to correct the problem? Clearly, if this webpage can play the sound correctly in flash than it should be possible (or does this page use embedded .wav in action script 2.0?)
