What would be a good sound editor (for free), and where can I get a good quality sound recorder (for hopefully less than $100)? All I have right now is a really simple sound editor, and I'm using my low quality mp3 player's recorder to record stuff. It's not going so good. Please respond ASAP.

Thanks! I actually just googled 'free sound editor' and came up with the free version of AVS Audio Editor, which is pretty good....one thing I don't like though is that the quality goes down FAST.
