Here is a little copyright question that has just come to mind. I have just gotten a Zoom H4 with which I am having a lot of fun. But I have a confusing, to me, scenario about whether or not I can post a few of these sounds.

Scenario:

I walk into a bar and record some walla, but the bar is also playing prerecorded copyrighted music in the background which is distinguishable over the din occasionally. Is this legal to post to Soundsnap? Copyrights always make my head hurt.

Unfortunately, you cannot license this material, since it contains copyrighted work, even if its in the backround.
