Hi,

I have a number of sounds that once were available on soundsnap but were transferred to "pending sounds" during the reorganization that I would like to resubmit. When I click on them I am told I cannot access these files. What gives?

These sounds had been posted for many months and downloaded numerous times before the restructure. I feel (given their numerous downloads before the new model) that they are viable and an addition to the community. They were recorded with Stephan Paul modified Neumann U87's and Focusrite 8 mic pres. (Can that pass the muster?) I would like to resubmit but can't get access through the site.

Well interestingly enough though, some of my sounds were once not pending and were once available for download. Then since the site changed, now they are not.

Anyways, I have now read your upload guide; I guess I'll get to uploading 14 more sounds then. Sorry for my inconvenience.

However, your sounds will not be auditioned by our team unless you have the "about me" section, your credits and links all completed in your profile page.

We will make sure we check your sounds again.

However, keep in mind that credits and professional equipment is even more important for sound effects. We also tend to prefer sound recordists that can provide a lot more sounds, because this improves the user's confidence in the sounds.

We will get in touch via email whether your sounds have been approved or rejected.
