Hey, Tasos. Is there any way a non-pro like me could be a contributor? I've already contributed some stuff, and would like to give more, but I don't even have a mySpace page, and I'm not sure if making one specifically so I could get contributor status on this site would be acceptable.

My 20 have been up for review for a while now: I've done the 'about me' stuff, although I don't have and never will have a MySpace page and only a minimal presence on IMDB, because I work in theater. Some kind of indication as to when pending sounds will be reviewed would be useful, I think, along with an acknowledgment that one's upload has been registered.

I am seeing quite a few
I am seeing quite a few contributors whose sounds we cannot review unless:
- You have uploaded 20 sounds (this has been raised from 10 to 20, but if you uploaded sounds before the change, 10 will do).
- You have completed the "about me" section and have at least one link to a website, imdb or myspace page.
I have now updated our Contributor Guide to make these points a bit clearer.
At last...
After a long wait, our upload system has been enabled again.
Before uploading, make sure you 've read our Contributor Guide first.
We 're looking for the best sounds out there (and only the best) and I 'm really excited to start listening to all the new material.
