Just wanted to thank you for the previous times you were free, Soundsnap. There is a very cool, abundant and extensively varying database of sounds available here.

Unfortunately, you have become non-free. Understandable, though. Good luck with future endeavors.

I understand charging. I'm okay with paying a reasonable amount for a good quality sound. People have to make a living, and why not make a living at something you love to do. I'm okay with supporting that.

Most people use IE without reporting any bugs.

Wow, thank you for the fast reply. I am beginning to suspect the issue might stem from the flash plugin for the opera browser I was using. The site was a little buggy, but I am now using IE7 and it seems much better.

Eh... I disagree. There are

Eh... I disagree.

There are plenty of websites that contribute a LOT that are still free and continue to be. Take wikipedia for example. Oh... and the hundreds of variations of linux. You guys had something great before. But, now there's a ridiculous 5-download per MONTH limit. That's a bit extreme don't you think?

Whatever. Hopefully a true "open-source" style site will arise in the near future.
