Oh I see, well this animation I've done will hopefully be going on various stuff that the TV Channel puts out online, so I doubt there'll be room for credits on the actual thing, especially as it’s only 2 seconds long, but on any show that the ident goes with - that has credits - which considering the work that will (and has already) gone into them, there'd better be credits, - I'm doing some of the writing and I certainly hope I get credits for that! I expect these sound credits to be added, and I will of course be putting the animation on my showreel so I'd include credits there.
I'll follow your advice and do it as you suggest.
Thanks.

Hi, I'm an animator and I want to use some sounds from soundsnap and would like to include the correct acknowledgement for this or these, (depending on how many I use).
How do I contact the person/people who submitted a sound, to obtain their permission to use that/those sound/s in my animation?
For instance I've found some nice rain in alley sort of sounds for a forthcoming animation set in a rainy alley, and I've found some lovely splot and splatter sounds for use in a current animation for a student TV company...
- the word "student" is important here as we are all poor and anything we do is either with equipment funded by the university or free from other sources - we have nothing.
Acknowledgement is something else altogether, and should be freely given to those whose work is used....
Thus the question.
