If you record something from
If you record something from a movie, its not your own, no matter how much you change it.
If you create a sound that sounds like something from a movie, it should be fine. However, if its a quote from a movie, there might be other type of copyright for it, like the copyright of the script. Similarly, if its music and you play it again, there's definitely copyright involved.
if you sample a movie quote and it is different than the original is it your own made sample?
