Another legal question

Hi All,

Came across this site yesterday, absolutely fantastic - congrats to all involved! I'm an audio procuder who makes his own SFX, but i'm in no way musically inclined - so it's a god send to be able utilise the talents of skilled composers. Hopefully I can return the favour in contributing to the already impressive library of SFX!

Just have a quick question regarding the license. I mainly produce and license audio sketchs for a third party organisation, which in turn sells the end product indidually to customers.

All SFX/music used will be contained in a single track mixdown which also features a variety of elements, including voiceover, etc.

Based on this information, could you confirm that I wouldn't be in breach of the license? Am I correct in thinking the "commercial distribtuion" clause would apply if I were attempting to re-license/re-sell the sound effects to a third company as individual compenents?

Any advice you can offer is very much appreciated.

Many Thanks
Comprod

Your use of the sounds is allowed, since you are creating a 'derivative work'.

As you correctly said, what is not allowed is the distribution of the sounds 'as they are'.
