Hey,

Im a college student, part of a theatre but studying technical theatre as a course.

I have been asked to find out about the sound effect called Flange but nothing seems to appear that is useful on google.

Could anyone possibly help me out please.

I think you are looking for

I think you are looking for 'Flanger'.

Its not a specific sound, but a sound processing usually used on guitar. Try searching for 'flanger' and you will see what I mean.
