G'day G'day

Hi everyone,
I'm Dan (danmanisa) and I am wrapped to find this site. I am a musician and I am looking forward to being able to create some great sounds for the site. I have a roland 16 track and some good mics, so quality should be fine.
I am also a teacher and the sound effects have come in very handy for our senior multi-media students. I also create and find the sound effects for our majoy school productions, so this site has saved me literally hours in recording time.
Today i needed to get a lawn mower sound (ironically as i type our neighbour is mowing, and i will have to after i am finished here!) but instead of setting up a couple of mics, testing the levels and sounds, recording a bite and then cleaning and editing..etc... i come to sound snap. I have passed the site on to several other people who may find it useful.

It will be interesting to see how the new membership or payment model works. I am not sure as I have not read the details, i will have to wait and see. As i will use most of the sound effects for work, i am not too sure i will want to pay, but hey, maybe they will for me!
