Congratulations and I think
Great job! I'll say this,
Great job! I'll say this, when using Adobe Premier on a PC it's a total waste of time. Even trying to render shorter videos it takes almost 100% of the PC's resources and on my main comp that's saying quite a lot. Great animation "whowell". Looking forward to part 2.
Yes, its fine to use them

I've restarted twice and this final version took me about 6 months to do during my lunch hours.
My models, rigging and animation arn't that great but with my limited skills i've managed to make something I'm quite proud of.
I used blender for all the animation and virtualdub to stick my images together into video clips. I rendered the movie in HD which might in retrospect have been overkill.
Audio: I used audacity to record the vocals and downloaded the music and FX mainly from soundsnap
In the end I used Adobe premier elements 8 to put it all together and add titles, it nearly drove me mad with constant crashing! Its ironic that the one bit of software i paid for was the worst to use - I seriously wouldn't recomend it!
Am already working on Episode 2 which should hopefully be a bit quicker to do.
I noticed that two of the music tracks ("Fanfare" played over the Captain Howell logo and "Fist6" the music playing during the credits) are no longer available from soundsnap, I downloaded them about 2 years ago. I am assuming they are still ok to use!
Anyone know?
I had wanted to give the creators credit
